Above all I value my relationships, with the Lord first and then family, friends, students and animals.
I love my work, as an Instructor it is very meaningful to me to know I have helped people define and reach their goals. I wear many "hats" as they say. In addition to being a wife, and mother of grown children, and grandmother; I am a trainer, life coach, instructor, mentor, role model and CEO of Chrysalis Ranch LLC.
Horses are amazing animals and they can be very nurturing, even healing to the soul. I personally believe that God designed them that way. It is funny how so many people who learn to resolve communication problems with a horse, also learn to resolve "people problems" My Educational Background is in Child Development, and Psychology. I have spent many years studing the Psychology of Winning. My Equestrian Background is diverse. I began to ride regularlly at the age of four. I started riding Welsh Ponies early in life and love them so much that I breed them today.

I have been blessed to be able to ride under the instruction of many Olympic trainers In Jumping, and Dressage.
I have attended many clinics and seminars, as well as several Judge's schools, and have high level mentors, so that I can keep learning and improving personally and to be a better teacher.
It is my joy and privledge to share my love of horses and my knowledge with others. I have persented clinics such as Equine Affaire. I've trained A List celebrities such as Angelina Joilie. When I was living in Malibu, California, the studios would often call me to train leading actors, because they knew that I am able to help people progress quickly, and safely.
I began my professional career in 1974. I have worked with and ridden race horses At Santa Anita, Hollywood Park, Bay Meadows and Golden Gate Fields. I rode Grand Prix Show Jumpers Internationally before establishing myself as a Trainer.
Over the years I have exhibited most breeds and most disciplines. I own and show a few Reiners. My favorite thing to teach is Hunt Seat Equitation and Equitation over fences hunters and Open Jumping. I believe that being a good rider is important, but true horsemanship and great sportsmanship have lasting value. Being a person of Integrity is even more important.
